Our organization is a current provider under the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Short-Term Rental, Mortgage and Utility Assistance (STRMU) program. has successfully been implementing this program for the City of Miami since 2012.
has helped paid rent, mortgage and utilities for more than 200 qualified participants. These participants (households and individuals), as part of the program’s mission, are provided assistance due to financial struggle or hardship, to include loss of income, medical expenses, or even family emergencies to name a few. Our program staff acts as liaison between the client-landlord-and the City of Miami, and is able to alleviate that hardship and assist them to get back on their feet.
